Mystery, Inc. is a group of ameatur slueths consisting of Fred Jones, Daphne Blake, Velma Dinkley, Shaggy Rogers, and its mascot, a Great Dane named Scooby-Doo. In the original series' they solved mysteries in their hometown of Coolsville, Ohio, and eventually around the world. In the reboot series, Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated, they solved mysteries in Crystal Cove, California.

Fred Jones - the self-proclaimed leader of Mystery, Inc., he is usually the one setting the traps for the monsters.
Daphne Blake - the fashionista of the group, she uses her unique skills to get herself out of sticky situations.
Velma Dinkley - the brains of the group, she usually solves the mystery before the monster is unmasked.
Shaggy Rogers - a hippy slacker, he and his dog, Scooby-Doo, mostly run from the monsters, which makes them very good bait.
Scooby-Doo - the mascot of the team, he and his owner would rather eat and slack off than solve mysteries.
